Well, that's another one off the bucket list. What magnificent films, and it was breathtaking to see them on the big screen.
Double bill at Vue in Romford tonight. Best Halloween ever.

No, but you do get to see her arse crack at one point (when she's preparing the shuttle for final departure at the end of Alien).
Very striking woman, but far too tall for me!

Alfie, another truly memorable film, one that would make it into my top ten. I saw it on the big screen in 1992 and am hoping to see it again before the year is out. It looks fantastic on a decent plasma TV, but nothing beats the cinema experience.

Just a minor, pedantic correction:
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe: attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-Beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost...in time, like... tears in rain. Time to die.

We are going off topic here! There are going to be some screenings of Kubrick's masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey in the next couple of months. I shall be there.

I have 2001 on DVD. The "Blue Danube" gets full volume through my music system.
I vaguely recall seeing it at the pictures when it came out. I couldn't wait for it to end.

Yes, I have it on DVD too, same as Blade Runner and the Aliens films. Still, it'll be an experience to see it on the big screen.

Saw Alien on the big screen for its 25th anniversary. Was superb. Would love to have aliens on it too. Both in my top 10 films
